Fans voted “IF NOT CSK, WHICH TEAM SHOULD DHONI HAVE PLAYED FOR?”

Yeah, it's tough for any CSK fan to picture, but we thought — what if Dhoni hadn’t been at CSK? Which team would fans have wanted to see Thala play for?

So we did a quick survey with a group of cricket fans to find out:
If not CSK, where should No.7 have gone?

As you can see in the pie chart, the fans clearly leaned towards Mumbai Indians (MI) — a solid 38.5% voted for Dhoni in blue. Interestingly, this could’ve actually happened in the IPL 2008 mega auction, where MI were close in the bidding war for him!

At No. 2, we’ve got RCB with 34.6% of the votes.
It might surprise some, especially given the heated rivalry in recent years — but maybe fans just wanted to see the ultimate fantasy combo: Dhoni + Virat, aka MaHiRat in one team.

Coming in third is LSG with 7.7%. Most likely, it’s a regional love factor — fans from UP and nearby states like Bihar probably felt connected.

And finally, KKR, PBKS, and SRH all got 3.8% each — not a lot, but it shows Dhoni’s presence is imagined everywhere.
